A Quarry Day at Last

A Quarry Day at Last

Quarry swimming

We belong to a swimming hole that used to be a Quarry, and this place is usually not only the highlight of our summer, but a mainstay all season long. But not this year! Either I have been gone or it has been way too cool, so we have not been there much. I was delighted to finally get a chunk of time there today as it was the first day warm enough to think about going in the water, which from the cool weather, was still much colder than usual.

I love this place and wish I could photograph how lovely that water is to be in, while looking across the surface at almost submerged eye-level at the rippling reflections… Deep and spring fed, a swim here is beyond refreshing!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
