You know I’m a big one for mindfulness, and this whole trip was rife with it. The textures of the moss, lichen, bark, fungi, frogs, loons, and fluttering leaves all spoke to me. Here are some close-up bits of this experience that I thought to record, and I love how so many of them also represent abstract compositions.

    I have so enjoyed your lovely photos of your camping experience. Thank you for sharing them. It’s a treat to see the northern trees, lakes and critters as I have not been in the north for a number of years.
