Nostalgia

Memories charged by
pangs of perfume
pierce pretense
wafting
wantonly
wistful
ephemeral but intense
transporting back briskly to by-gone bliss
poignantly pensive, intoxicating sensory overload
before bailing, parachuting, crashing to the present.

What are we taking for granted today that we’ll remember so fondly?
