Thank you for the Combination of Ideas

Thank you for the Combination of Ideas

I am and have been
grateful for many things:
texture, color, hope with wings.
But this year
I’m grateful most
for God’s best ideas:
you (yes, you!)
and ours and all.
Each one of us
that drop of water
in the fulness of One,
while together our ocean
is that same
nurturing essence
effortlessly integrating
we get along and adore
comfortable, unfiltered,
embracing much more
astonished by unity
honored by recognition
surrounded by beauty
and melody and flavor
we phlegmatically progress
with yearned for fruition
assured–
as certain as
cashmere is soft
or adventure is primary
with love a velvety sunshine
streaking through
the purple of
a moist, misty dawn,
a waterfall to frolic in,
besotted in discovery,
reveling in purpose,
poised in satisfaction
but not alone because
we can’t be separated,
even at a distance
even while occupying
our own unique,
fulfilled,
secure space,
with all good
as close
as our
next breath
and our composition
intrinsically smitten
with the vast fabulousness
and alluring potential
of authentic person-kind.
Sustainability is possible
because we’ve proven it in part;
so the whole can inevitably follow.
Thank you for bounty
and beneficence, and for
the exact, wise, and astute
combination of your finest ideas.

Thanksgiving 2018

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
