I’ve been so busy the last couple months that it was lovely to have time to go with a friend to watch a breezy, unscripted conversation between the four Dames of British theater. Judy Dench and Maggie Smith, in particular, are favorites of mine. And while I can only give this light tea time among long time professional friends 3 stars, it was heartening to see their good humor and life perspectives.

I thought their answers on what they would tell their younger selves were interesting. They all don’t read their reviews, and I already knew that Maggie Smith has never even watched Downton Abby. Additionally, this filmed chat is interspersed with clips from their stage and film careers.

This is not something to rush out and see on the big screen, but you might want to catch it at some point on some other venue.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
