Sugar Beads Ridgefield

Our youngest daughter has been doing magnificent artwork with seed beads lately.  Today we went to Sugarbeads for a new project for her. She is planning a new sculptural necklace combining peyote stitched seed beads with larger beads sewed in layers.

Walking into this store was like being inside a colorful palette of opportunity!  The level of choice was enormous, and the level of precise organization was mind-boggling.  They even had bead findings stored in the old card catalogue from Smith College!

At the very bottom, you can see what our daughter picked to work with; she has very good taste!  Whenever this is done I’ll feature it on this blog… she’s making it for me!
