Sacramento food

Above is the most foodie meal I had this week. Also we went out for sushi where I had delicious (cooked) salmon on a bed of avocado…

The first photos below are of the lovely large Safeway grocery store in our daughter’s new Midtown neighborhood. Isn’t that horse sculpture wonderful? And there are plenty of organic produce options there.

Other photos are of a produce store that carried local dried fruits and nuts as much as anything else. There are many farmer’s markets I look forward to visiting next time in town.

You can also see below a few home cooked meals we had in Sacramento on our hostess’s beautiful china. I’ve never seen an electric “egg cooker” before. Have you?

Oh, and you’ve got to love the photo of the box of plums at the bottom that was taken at church… some member had a bumper crop and they were trying to get rid of their surplus by making them available for free in the foyer…

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
