Reaching for the Light (pastel) by Polly Castor

Here is my newest abstract landscape in pastel. It is 18″x24″ and is done of some trees at New Pond Farm as part of my “tree series.” I love how huge trees reach for the light, as well as the dramatic perspective of looking up. There are some spiritual lessons in that, I would say.
