I had a lovely Mother’s Day. The weather was spectacular. It felt like I was living inside a pointillist or Impressionistic painting, as the trees were dotted with new leaves and brushstrokes of color were evident everywhere. The violin solo during the offertory at church was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. (I am informed that it was “Love’s Promise” by Elgar.) Next I was taken out to lunch for a delicious salmon salad on arugula with mango, jicama, avocado and goat cheese, as seen below. In the afternoon we visited the nursery to spend a Christmas gift certificate from my sister on three orange azalea bushes. The flowers there were stunning. At home, our front porch received it’s chairs, the side porch screens, and our picnic table its umbrella. Spring is really here at last!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
