Okja (Movie Review)

Blog Reader Deborah recommended I see this move, and we finally got to it last night. I had never heard of it, but it is about topics of GMO food that I have long been interested in. Unlike most films on the meat industry and food politics, it was not a documentary, but instead a movie length story (put out by Netflix) about the slight future and a GMO “Super Pig.”

While I can only give the movie Okja three stars, it was a solid effort that communicated its messages well, and I felt that if you are interested in food issues or animal rights issues, you might want to catch it on Netflix.
