My New Mixed Media Painting

I painted this last weekend and it represents some very therapeutic quiet time for me. My head was mostly elsewhere and the focal point here is off the page. As a base for this painting, I collaged paper that I had used as drop cloths for oil paintings (which had bright oil paint splotches all over it) in gel medium. Then I used acrylic paint and permanent pen to take it further…
