Two years ago, before most people had ever heard of it, I blogged about the book The Help. So I haven’t read it recently, but I loved the new movie rendition and have very few complaints to lodge against it. I can’t speak to what it is like to see this movie without having read the book, nor what it is like having read it more recently. I thought they did a great job and everyone should see it. I do regret that the scene about the brown and white wrapping quoted in my blog review of the book was not included, but they got so much right I still give it a hearty five stars!
