Lyrics to Church Solo “It is Well”

Lyrics to Church Solo “It is Well”

IMG_0143 - Version 3

I’m at Creative Arts Camp and the church solo was sung beautifully by blog reader Clare. It was so lovely and I have been thinking about it since, so I thought I would share it with you. Maybe you might want to use this solo in your church as well? Here is a YouTube link of it, which is wonderful. The song is called “It Is Well” and it is by Kristene DiMarco, Bethel Music Publishing 2013. Sheet music is available for purchase here. The lyrics are below:

It is Well

Grander earth has quaked before
Moved by the sound of His voice.
Seas that are shaken and stirred
Can be calmed and broken for my regard.
And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
Through it all, through it all
It is well.

Through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
It is well with me.

Far be it from me to not believe
Even when my eyes can’t see.
And this mountain that’s in front of me
Will be thrown into the midst of the sea.

And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
Through it all, through it all
It is well, it is well.
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name [repeat last line during 3rd run][x3]
And it is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
[repeat 3x]

It is well it is well with my soul [x3]
ahhhhhhh (softly)
Through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You Lord
Through it all, through it all
It is well with me.
[x2]
