I am in this “Art of Abstraction” show in Hartford at Arts Center East which runs until August 20th. It was a juried show and all three of the paintings I submitted got in the show; you can see them above and the first two below.

It is a delight to be in a show all of abstraction, and this venue is beautiful with natural light. Below my paintings you can see the grid painting that garnered first place, and below that, you can see the one I felt should have gotten first place. I loved the art here by Gretchen Wohlegmuth, (blog reader) Alexandra Walters, and Diane Ward, among others. Also the colorized wood grain paintings were fascinating.

Enjoy my favorites in the show on this post, or better yet, check out the show in person to find yours.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
