I am Grateful for You

I’m grateful for a lot of things:
For Truth, Life, and Love,
For family, marriage, and home,
For progress, hope, and fruition,
For color, texture, and form,
For food, and flavor, and fun,
For curiosity, compassion, and creativity,
For mountains, and seaside, and trees,
For fleece, flannel, and friends
For teeth, feet, hands, ears, and eyes,
For books and paper, ink and paint,
For computers, phones, cars, and cameras,
For protection, provision, and opportunity,
For solitude, sanctuary, and satisfaction,
For questions, searching, and contemplation,
For striving, coasting, and sitting still,
For exploration, travel, and discovery,
For intelligence, discernment, and courage,
For water, air, heat, sunshine, and rain,
For butterflies and birds, moon and stars,
For zinnias, peonies, tulips, and lilacs,
For waterfalls, fjords, and rainbows,
For grocery stores and vegetable gardens,
For libraries, museums, churches, and parks,
For affection, authenticity, and appreciation,
For help, and honesty, and harmony
For melodies, rhythms, fugues, and hymns,
For grace, and blessings, and worship,
For orderliness, purity, and innocence,
For support, encouragement, and assistance,
For activity, vitality, and perspicacity,
For gladness, joy, delight, and enjoyment,
For calm, candor, comfort, and clarity,
For foundations, and roots, and soil,
For good choices and positive attitudes,
For being of service and inspiring others,
