I Got an Award in this Connecticut Pastel Society Show

I was delighted to get a merit award in the lovely Connecticut Pastel Society show going on this month at the Southington Community Cultural Arts Center. My piece is titled Confidence and is 18’x24″. You can see it above and first below, and can get prints and merchandise of it here in my gallery.

The artwork in this show is good, as you can see in the photos below. Stop buy and see it if you can!

The last one at the bottom got Best in Show, and is titled Window of Opportunity by Alain Picard.

Immediately upon returning home from the opening I reinvested the generous cash award in new pastels purchased online! Yay!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
