I Gave a Talk on Abstraction to the Guilford Arts League

Last night I gave a PowerPoint talk to the Guilford Arts League titled Abstraction: Between Realism and Non-Objective Art. It went well; I included lots of my paintings and photographs, and we zipped through them in a nice orderly procession. I also had a handout of art quotes as well as a handout of ideas to try.

Now that I’ve got this prepared does anyone else want to hear it? Let me know if your group would be interested.

Shown below are the artist palette deviled eggs I brought to the potluck beforehand…

This talk was really fun to do, and I’m grateful I had the opportunity.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
