Yesterday we got 10-16 inches of snow. It was odd to see snow on the trees while they still had leaves. Today, many branches are down due to the weight of all the snow that was captured by those leaves. We are without power for the indefinite future…

When just the first two inches were down, I was on the road, driving home very carefully. It was snowing heavily as I took these shots from out the window of the car while at lights and stop signs. The blurs in the photos are large flakes of falling snow. Our unremarkable fall trees this year look more intriguing under this early coat of snow…
