Bits and Clips for November 2016

screen-shot-2016-11-07-at-7-45-09-am

This is a monthly feature of the best I read, saw, or listened to on the internet each month. This month sadly has been very much colored by the events of our recent election, which feels devastating to me beyond September 11, or the shootings at Sandy Hook, which both hit very close to home. So for those of you that feel differently, you will have to excuse me once more, because many –but not all– of the articles in the “ideas” section below are related to that. As usual, I have the links separated out topically for your convenience, so you can find what you want, or avoid what you wish. Meanwhile, it is my earnest hope you remember I love you all and that you find something here that is interesting, helpful, enlightening, thought-provoking, or inspiring:
